MP3 Magazine
MP3 was a creative project I developed during my time at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, where I sought to merge my passion for music with my love for visual arts. The project centered around the creation of a zine, a self-published booklet that curated a selection of my favorite artists and albums. Through this zine, I aimed to delve deeply into the music that shaped my tastes, examining not only the sounds and lyrics of each artist but also their broader cultural and stylistic impact. I also explored the ways in which these musicians’ works resonated with my own evolving artistic sensibilities.
Since the completion of that original project, both my artistic style and musical tastes have undergone significant transformation. In revisiting MP3, I’ve chosen to reimagine it, reflecting how my perspective has shifted over time. This revamped version of MP3 aims to present a more refined and nuanced exploration of the artists, albums, and musical movements that continue to influence me today.
